NCVO: Charity finance skills

This course will help people with little or no financial background to feel confident in managing day-to-day charity finance.

This course will explore some basic tools to help you:

• make better financial decisions for your organisation
• monitor resources
• communicate effectively with finance professionals

By the end of the training, you'll: 

• be able to make sense of basic internal financial reports and management accounts
• understand how to create and manage a budget, including in times of uncertainty
• understand the value of using management accounts and forecasts to inform decisions and monitor progress
• be more confident and intentional about your organisation’s finances
• be more familiar with the key sections in a set of annual accounts
