There are approximately 150,000 British Sign Language users. BSL is a rich and beautiful language comprising ofhand gestures, facial expressions and body movement. It was recognised as a language in its own right in 2003.
For the third year running, Ecclesiastical Insurance Group is giving away £1million to charities with the return of its Movement for Good awards.
Applications for grant funding are invited from registered charities, CICs and voluntary organisations who work with disadvantaged communities and/or people living within the Greater Manchester area.
