The Barclays' 100x100 UK COVID-19 Community Relief Programme are making 100 donations of £100,000 each to UK charities working to support vulnerable communities impacted by COVID-19, and the associated social and economic hardship caused by the crisis – a £10m commitment from the Charity Partners Programme.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has secured £10 million for domestic abuse safe accommodation charities as part of a £76 million government package of support to charities supporting vulnerable people including domestic abuse victims.

Support is now available to anyone bereaved or affected by a death in Greater Manchester. No one needs to feel alone as they deal with their grief and advice can be offered for any practical issues that losing a loved one may bring.

This is a brand new scheme for Elders from Refugee Communities. This scheme is designed to reduce social isolation, increase integration experiences and community connections and promote better overall health and wellness. Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN) will also be able to provide you with information about services for elderly people.
Ecclesiastical have launched their £1m Movement for Good awards. £1,000 awards are open to eligible charities registered in the UK and Republic of Ireland – these could range from smaller volunteer-run groups to larger, well-known organisations. Anyone can nominate a charity to win one of the £1,000 awards.
The Caribbean and African Health Network (CAHN) Bereavement Service offers the Caribbean and African community living in Greater Manchester (GM) a culturally and religiously tailored support for those grieving or mourning the loss of loved ones. This would be at no costs to GM residents but at a fee to people living outside greater Manchester. CAHN will be taking referrals from their statutory partners and VCSE organisations.
