Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership have been working with Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust on a baseline workforce survey to capture a snapshot on thoughts and experiences of ‘Psychological Safety in the Workplace’.

This survey has been designed to understand how psychologically safe you feel as an individual within your team, and workplace. This includes the environment that your team leader creates, the beliefs that you hold about your team, and finally the behaviours that you see within the teams you work with.

Gorton Visual Arts

Gorton Visual Arts held a mosiac art session at the Ross Place Day Centre where people made bees and poppies out of pieces of tile. There is a direct link between being creative and wellness.

There was also cake to help everyone work!

Lifted Carers Centre

Lifted Carers Centre used their Sharing Our Wellness funding to put on a Carers Christmas Bingo session and a 'Celebration of Achievements' Christmas party at the centre in December 2019.

During the party, a number of carers had their picture taken, showing quotes of what wellness means to them and personal tips on what they do to keep well. These pictures will be available shortly.

Better Things

Better Things ran a number of workshops for their Sharing Our Wellness funding and through these have created an Autumn Almanac of Wellness (attached below). Also, people shared ideas and opportunities on and with the AutumnAlmanacofWellness @Autumnwellness Twitter account. This was offered as a kind and joyous space on social media, a place which is often very negative and potentially damaging for people.
