healthwatch manchesterHealthwatch Manchester is carrying out a short survey to understand everyone’s experience of the lock down in Manchester.

They especially need to know about the impact it is having on individuals and communities with protected characteristics, such as BAME, LGBTQ+, long term conditions, learning disabilities etc.

Manchester Mind provide free and impartial advice on welfare benefits, debt and housing to people with mental health needs living in Manchester.

Northmoor Community Diner September 2020 menu

The idea of the diner is to create a welcoming space for anyone to come and get a freshly cooked meal, meet members of their community and find out what’s going on in the area.

The diner is open Wednesdays: 9, 16, 23, 30 September, 12pm-2pm at Northmoor Community Centre, 95-97 Northmoor Road, Longsight, Manchester, M12 5RT.

The meals cost £1 and are takeaway only. There is 2-metre social distancing in place.

Lloyds Bank Foundation COVID Recovery Fund

lloyds bank foundationAt 10am on 3 August Lloyds Bank Foundation are launching £7.4 million COVID funding aimed at supporting charities to recover beyond the immediate crisis.

The COVID Recovery Fund will offer around 140 charities a two-year unrestricted grant of £50,000 alongside a Development Partner to help charities navigate a tumultuous future.
