  • Compare how your resilience results benchmark against charities of a similar size to yours and the wider sector

Cheetham Hill Advice Centre Evaluation

Summary
Cheetham Hill Advice Centre is a busy advice charity in North Manchester. For the last three years CHAC has been delivering two streams of advice services funded by the Reaching Communities strand of The National Lottery Community fund and The Henry Smith Charity. CHAC is commissioning two independent evaluations of these projects to look at the outcomes, the impact and any lessons that can be learnt from this work.

This April, Get Grants are celebrating 5 years of Get Grants Virtual Fundraisers Networking Events.

These free events started in April 2020 as a way to bring fundraisers together.

Since then, Get Grants have had over 8500 attendees, and shared many challenges, frustrations, successes, little wins, and peer-support together.

How can charities stay safe against cyber hackers in 2025?

Charities and not-for-profit organisations are very vulnerable to cyber attacks for multiple reasons. The Government's Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2024 found that a third of all charities had experienced a cyber security breach or attack in the previous 12 months. The Cyber Resilience Centre for the North West has produced advice for charities to stay protected against cyber attackers.
