As a result of COVID-19, Invisible (Manchester) are suspending their tours and training. The silver-lining is that during this quiet period they can finally turn their attention to all the long neglected tasks that have fallen far down the to do list!

Covid Mutual Aid UK is a group of volunteers supporting local community groups organising mutual aid throughout the covid-19 outbreak in the UK. It focuses on providing resources and connecting people to their nearest local groups, willing volunteers and those in need.

People’s History Museum is looking for volunteers to help create a welcoming social space within the museum.

Let’s keep growing is a community garden project in Longsight providing free activities to Greater Manchester residents of all ages and abilities, there’s no need to book, and light refreshments are provided. No gardening or building experience is necessary.

Rethinking Economics (RE) is an international network of students, academics and professionals building a better economics in society and the classroom. Their vision is of economies which serve people and the planet.

Bolton CVS are currently running the Giving Back in Bolton project and are working hard to develop best practice guidance for volunteering organisations so that people with criminal records are fairly represented in volunteering opportunities.
