The Summer Reading Challenge is the biggest annual reading promotion for children aged 4 to 11. Last year, children in Manchester read over 38,000 books and we’re ready for even more books to be borrowed from our libraries this year! 
It's simple to do – just read 6 library books of your own choice and collect all the stickers. You’ll be rewarded with a special medal and entered into our prize draw when you complete the Challenge. The Summer Reading Challenge launches on 1 July, and runs until 7 September. It will be supported by over 120 free activities in libraries across the city during the school holidays starting on 24 July.
