As the Fundraising Regulator’s new Code of Fundraising Practice (the code) comes into effect on 1 November 2025, how confident are you feeling as a trustee about your organisation’s compliance with the new code and your responsibilities?
Join Conor Gibson, Policy Manager at the Fundraising Regulator, for an overview of the new code and the key fundraising responsibilities of trustees. Conor will share an overview of the key changes and improvements made in the new code, as well as materials available to support you in upholding your responsibilities.
The session will also be joined by Holly Riley, Head of Strategic Policy at the Charity Commission for England and Wales. She will be discussing more about trustee duties surrounding fundraising and the new code, plus how the new code interacts with the work of the Charity Commission.
There will be time to ask Conor questions about the new code, and to ask Joe Johnson, Casework Manager at the Fundraising Regulator about how the new code works within their complaints and investigations process.
