Learn how to use creative interventions with your clients using sand, clay and other creative materials. For mental health professionals.
This is a face-to-face, experiential workshop designed to support and deepen your therapeutic work with clients. Creative and embodied approaches can help clients access, express, and process experiences in different and often deeper ways than words alone.
Together, we’ll explore the use of sand, clay, and other creative materials in the therapy room, with opportunities to experience these approaches first-hand and consider how you might integrate them into your own practice.
Designed for mental health professionals, therapists, psychotherapists, counsellors, and social workers, both qualified and in training, the workshop offers:
- First-hand experience of sand and clay as therapeutic mediums
- Access to a wide range of high-quality creative resources
- Practical, transferable ideas for client work, linked to theory
- Small group experience (10 max) to allow for deeper learning, reflection, and discussion
- Affordable, experiential CPD
- Space for personal and professional reflection
- Personal development hours
