Europia is producing Wellbeing videos led by Karolina Skulska, a Polish-speaking Life Coach and Director of Be Super You. Karolina offers advice and techniques for coping with stress. These videos will be released every Monday for 7 weeks. The introduction and week 1 videos are available our their Youtube channel here [6].
Teleconferencing has been an important and useful tool to engage with members who are not online. While one-to-one befriending calls are excellent, it’s also great for people to be able to get together in groups, especially when other members may still be getting together online, via Zoom or other platforms.
The Edge Post Covid-19 Revival Fund is a one-off fund with up to £250,000 of grant funding available. Applications are welcomed for grants of between £10,000 and £50,000.
The National Lottery Community Fund has launched the Coronavirus Community Support Fund (CCSF). It is part of the Government’s £750m support package for charities and local enterprises. The fund is aimed primarily at small to medium organisations in England to support you to continue to deliver services to people and communities affected by Covid-19.

Inspired by the Kenyan and South African savings-based movements of Shack/Slum Dwellers International, women in Greater Manchester have come together to establish local group saving schemes. Groups regularly save small amounts together, building trust and identifying issues they want to work on together.
The Next Steps programme is BBC Children in Need’s response programme designed to deliver support for children and young people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible organisations will be able to apply for up to £80,000 for projects commencing in September 2020. These grants can last up to 18 months. It is designed for established organisations who are already delivering work in their communities and further afield.
One Manchester recognises that the summer holidays will present a challenge to many families who are struggling to feed their children healthy meals. This is especially the case for those who may benefit from free school meals or vouchers during term time.
Small grants from £50 to £1,000 are available for voluntary and community groups and social enterprises to encourage people who are usually less active to get out and start walking, or increase the amount they walk.
