Catalyst and The National Lottery Community Fund COVID-19 Digital Response

Emergency funding of up to £60,000 available to nonprofits in England that are committed to proactively sharing learnings with other organisations in their networks.

This fund is aimed at organisations whose work has been affected by COVID-19 and who need emergency funding to continue to deliver essential services. It will support them to develop the digital, data and design capabilities that allow them to address urgent issues and serve the most vulnerable.

This funding is a combination of direct grants and payment for support from digital agencies.

The Fellowship are looking for 8 Fellows who are working in the Greater Manchester Community and Voluntary Sector. The programme is for people who may have very little experience in technology, but a lot of experience of working in communities, and curiosity about the ways in which technology is shaping everything that we do.

The charity will provide grants of up to £2,500 to help small charities build websites and digital products which will enhance their work and consequently provide social good.

The free training programmes, which have been funded as part of the Fast Track Digital Workforce Fund to create inclusive opportunities into digital employment, are now open for candidate applications.

There is lots of great work happening in the community and want to support these groups and individuals further. The Community Development training platform offers a range of free online digital courses covering everything from leadership and finance to communication skills.
