Community Comms are pioneering a unique approach to cause funding. They utilise commercial opportunities to help raise money in order to address the needs of communities in the UK.

Community Comms present their collective community to businesses that pay commissions for engaging their target customers. “Reverse Marketing for Causes.”

With their help and support communities are able to recognise the value of their collective and how it is significantly enhanced when joining Community Comms.

Applications are currently open to the WREN Community Action Fund, which makes grants towards the provision, maintenance or improvement of: WREN
• Village Halls and Community Centres
• Public Play Areas
• Publicly available multi-use games areas, skate parks and BMX tracks
• Sport and recreation grounds including pavilions and clubhouses with full public access
• Churches – community spaces only
• Nature reserves

Would you like to help an independent charity that works with and for older people in Manchester to raise vital funds to support it's work?

Age UK Manchester would like to welcome some new volunteers to support their participation in the Fabulous Fan Fayre (F3) ‘Not For Profit Programme’ at Manchester City Football Club. Volunteers run a booth at the Etihad Stadium on match days and at events; dispensing food and drink (soft and alcoholic) – where a percentage of the profits generated are paid directly to Age UK Manchester.

New fundraising app launching in Manchester - Buengo ‘sell it for good’

What is Buengo?
Buengo is a new fundraising app that allows users to sell the things they no longer need and donate the proceeds to good causes - Buengo appthink digital charity shop! Buengo are aiming to raise more money for charities and community groups while bringing local people together. It launches on 1 March in Manchester.

A new round of University Construction Community Funding now available from the University of Manchester

Changes to Heritage Lottery Fund Grants

The Heritage Lottery Fund is making changes this year in preparation for its new Strategic Funding Framework, due to come in in 2019. The HLF have designated 2018 as a 'transition year', with several changes: Heritage Lottery Fund
• There will be no new rounds of targeted programmes (i.e. Landscape Partnerships, Parks for People or Townscape Heritage) in 2018
