Manchester Safeguarding Partnership are pleased to welcome We Are Survivors to deliver this final session in their Week of Action.
Established in Greater Manchester in 2009, We Are Survivors is a survivor-focused charity that creates safe spaces and provides specialist support for male survivors, including trans and non-binary individuals, affected by sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation. Their work combines direct support, advocacy, education and awareness-raising to help break the silence surrounding sexual harm and create lasting change.
Through this powerful and insightful session, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma, the importance of survivor-centred approaches, and the role we can all play in building safer, more supportive communities. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from an organisation at the forefront of supporting survivors and driving positive change across Greater Manchester and beyond.
