Free introduction to data collection methods and practical guidance for evaluating your work as a VCFSE organisation.
This is a free training offer for North Manchester VCFSE groups. The training should help you learn how to use surveys, interviews and other tools to find out if your project is making a difference. Whether you’re preparing funder reports or trying to make sense of programme outcomes, this training course will teach you how to collect data that is relevant to your organisation and cause.
By the end of the training, you’ll:
- develop skills to take a more strategic approach to evaluation
- be able to confidently choose appropriate data collection methods
- know how to design and use tools to gather qualitative and quantitative data
- know how to organise insightful interviews and develop strong questionnaires
- understand good practice in applying data collection processes.
You’ll be able to apply the learning to evaluating organisations, programmes, projects or campaigns. The course is aimed at people who are new to designing data collection tools and those who need a refresher.
Lunch will be provided.
Training delivered by NCVO, funded by North Manchester Together.
