Join UrbanMuse for a special screening of Notes from the Underground, a powerful documentary exploring Cape Town's underground Hip Hop movement and its role in community organising, cultural resistance and social movements.
Funded by Black Lives Matter UK, this event examines how Hip Hop became a tool for education, activism and preserving cultural identity during the 1980s and why it still relevant today.
Following the screening, film's producers, Adrian Van Wyk and Chris Kets will do a live Q&A, as they discuss the making of the film and the power of culture to inspire change.
