Cost-of-living Grants Fund

In response to the cost-of-living crisis Independent Age are looking to provide 25 grants of £40,000 (£1million total) to charities and community organisations to get more money into the pockets of older people and help ensure they do not have to choose between buying food to eat and heating their home this winter.  Projects must be in addition to or an extension of existing work – the grants cannot fund business-as-usual projects.

Warburtons Families Matter Community Grants Programme

Warburtons has announced the next set of deadlines for its Community Grants programme. The scheme offers small grants of up to £400 to not-for-profit organisations with fundingcharitable purposes that are operating in England, Scotland and Wales.

Employees of Warburtons are also able to apply on behalf of organisations if they are actively involved with them (e.g., they are a volunteer, trustee or active supporter).

Big Alcohol Conversation survey 2022

In 2019, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership asked people across Greater Manchester to tell them about the role and impacts of alcohol in their communities. More than 80 surveylocal voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, more than 5,000 people, joined in the Big Alcohol Conversation. From this, findings and recommendations were produced.
