Bursary available for BAME Fundraisers and Charity Leaders

fsiThe FSI have a small number of bursary places to support applicants who are from groups under-represented to access their SQA-accredited qualification in Fundraising Practice (Equivalent to QCF Level 3).

To be eligible to receive the bursary you must be a member of the FSI and your charity must have an annual income (as shown in your most recent annual accounts) of less than £250,000. You can register to become a member for free.

They are running a focus group on 25 November at 5.30pm for around two hours via Zoom. Participants will receive £60 as a thank you and play a valuable role in improving things for all people affected by gambling disorder.

Beyond Covid emergency response: planning for funding in 2021

Funding throughout 2020/21 has focused on emergency Covid-19 response. This has been welcomed and much needed. However, many organisations are now looking for longer-term funding opportunities to ensure they can continue operating for the sake of their users when the emergency funding ends. This is due to be exacerbated as local councils who have invested in the VCSE sector are forced to make unavoidable cuts.

uk youthThe UK Youth Fund – Covid Relief has been created to support youth organisations who have not had access to the crisis funding they require to survive the Covid pandemic. Youth organisations with an income of under £250,000 that are based in, and deliver their work in England are eligible to apply for up to £50,000.

Complete an online questionnaire and the responses will be used as your funding application.
