The Covid-19 Frontline Women’s Fund is being delivered by Smallwood Trust, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. The National Lottery Community Fund has committed almost £500,000 to the fund, which will be used to provide support to organisations that are working with women most at risk of poverty and financial hardship due to the pandemic.
The Return to Play: Small Grants fund seeks to support projects addressing the challenges coronavirus (Covid-19) has posed to people taking part in sport and physical activity.
A total of £10 million is available, with grants of between £300 and £10,000, to help not-for-profit community organisations create coronavirus-secure settings for community sport and physical activity to resume this autumn.
The Return to Play: Community Asset Fund is for new applications focused solely on helping support clubs and community groups through the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic to return to play.
The Immediate Impact Grant responds to the needs expressed by local communities. These grants are for small-scale, short-term projects.
ISLA Foundation award grants of between £300 and £2,000 for entrepreneurial individuals, voluntary/community organisations, schools/PTAs, clubs and societies in the UK. They can cover a wide range of projects aimed at creating positive changes in people’s lives and in their communities.

If you’re part of a community group, church, college, school or company, help Mustad Tree combat food poverty this winter by filling a crate for Christmas.
The Mustard Tree team can deliver the crates for free, or you can pick them up from their Ancoats hub on Oldham Road during opening weekday opening hours (Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm).
Manchester Deaf Centre is setting up a mutual support group for d/Deaf male ex-offenders. This support group is being set up together with CMS and funding from the Movember Foundation. It follows a pilot mutual support group for d/Deaf ex-offenders in Lancashire.
Sow the City has worked with Cornbrook Medical Practice in Central Manchester to develop their grounds into an engaging space for growing, wildlife and relaxation. Cornbrook is prescribing gardening and nature activities to patients to benefit their health and wellbeing and to help to tackle social isolation.
