Horizons Festival 2020 – Call Out for Expressions of Interest

This opportunity is aimed at Northern-based artists and companies from refugee backgrounds.

Horizons Festival celebrates international arts and global culture and runs alongside Refugee Week. The festival features a week long programme of theatre, film, art, performance, workshops and debate showcasing the artistic talent of refugees and migrants.

The festival takes place at HOME, Manchester and is co-produced with Community Arts North West (CAN). The third Horizons Festival will take place between 13 and 20 June 2020.

Pool Arts

These audio files were gathered from Pool Arts' William Blake exhibition 'Your Truth is not My Truth' at The Horsfall. The lino prints were produced by young people from 42nd Street, Pool Arts artists and members of the public as part of printmaking workshops looking at art and wellbeing, inspired by the exhibition.


Nesta 100 Day Challenge update

NestaThe Manchester Local Care Organisation have collaborated with a charity called Nesta and their People Powered Results team to deliver three waves of the 100 Day Challenge. This challenge is giving each of the 12 Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) in Manchester 100 days to decide upon and rapidly test innovative ideas that tackle a specific health and social care issue.
