One of the things I’ve said many times over the years is the need to think about volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity as a way of coping with a rapidly changing world. I’m not going to tell you to stop doing that! With a new Government with such a large majority we now know that after years, things will start moving fast…or at least it will look and feel as if they are. That big majority means acceleration. We’re just still waiting to see what direction it will take. Who knows what version of ‘One Nation Conservatism’ we will actually see?

Greggs FoundationGreggs Foundation Local Community Projects Fund awards grants of up to £2,000 to enable not for profit organisations to do something they otherwise couldn’t afford to do.

Local Community Projects Funding is offered to organisations supporting people in need. Any not for profit organisation can apply, however, larger organisations with a turnover in excess of £300,000 will be unsuccessful.

MS SocietyThe MS Society has launched a new project to support people living with MS in Bolton, Salford and Manchester.

The project aims to support people with MS to improve their emotional wellbeing and financial security.

It’s funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and is delivered in partnership with Citizens Advice Manchester.
