In response, the GM VCSE Workforce Development Programme is looking at the current range and quality of Human Resources 
services used by local VCSE organisations.
A new £535k grants programme, funded through the Department for Transport and Active Travel England Capability and Ambition Fund, will support Greater Manchester's active travel mission. The 
community access grants will help local businesses and organisations to get more people walking, wheeling and cycling.
This fund will provide blended (grant and loan) support to community and social enterprises to enable them to retrofit energy generating/saving technology on community owned or managed buildings, with an initial focus on stabilising or reducing energy costs. It will particularly target high energy users, working in deprived communities or with marginalised groups.

The Sow the City Nature for Health service aims to tackle and prevent mental ill health by providing Social and Therapeutic Horticulture on prescription for Manchester residents. The service is 
funded by NHS England as part of a national pilot and is delivered in partnership with community gardens across the city.
Local people and community organisations from across North Manchester have organised 4 weeks of fantastic events to celebrate the diversity North Manchester has to offer. There will be interactive workshops, performances and food and music.
There has been a decline in the uptake of childhood vaccinations including the MMR vaccine. You can help to share the information in this toolkit to give parents the information they need to have 
their children vaccinated and protected from serious illness.
