This is the 
first phase of funding of the Million Hours Fund, which totals £11 million up to March 2025.
Funding is available for groups across the UK working with children and young people aged under 16 to address issues such as abuse, addiction, young carers, and homelessness.
The Manchester Promoting Positive Relationships approach, sponsored by the Department of Work and Pensions, aims to increase awareness, and provide support and training for practitioners.
These taster sessions are an opportunity for link workers and professionals such as Community Connectors, health care providers and green space workers who want to set up their own project or are interested in referring, to experience a 
wellbeing session first-hand with Therapeutic Garden

The Manchester Healthy Weight Strategy was published in March 2020. A strength of the Healthy Weight Strategy has been community activity and neighbourhood provision to support healthy weight for residents in Manchester.
This programme will support collaborations led by small charities seeking to influence and achieve local or regional change around improving the social security system, improving access to suitable accommodation, and support for asylum seekers and refugees. Collaborations can apply for grants of £100,000 over two years.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is inviting community organisations from across England to bid for funding for an automated external defibrillator (AED) for their area.
The £1 million fund which is not yet open for applications is expected to provide around 1,000 new defibrillators in community spaces across England.
Common Purpose are running their second GM100 Legacy programme taking place from 18-20 July. They will be convening up to 100 young people – in work, studying, campaigning, and volunteering.
