The UK Fund is one of the National Lottery Community Fund’s (NLCF) first significant commitments as part of their new strategy, ‘It starts with community.'
NLCF are looking to fund organisations that want to do more to help communities come together and help make us a better-connected society.
Groundwork have partnered with WWF and Aviva on an exciting new community crowdfunding opportunity, Save Our Wild Isles Community Fund.
The fund is looking to help groups and organisations kick start projects that are focused on one or more of the below themes:
Feed My City believe everyone has a right to enjoy basic food without having to have money. Feed My City provide simple, free, vegetarian, nourishing hot food and emergency food parcels to those most in need in the Manchester area without questions, judgement or charge.

Every Thursday 10.30am-12.30pm in Lime Square the Salvation Army hold a free drop-in session where you can get support with your search for employment. There is access to computers, internet available, get help with CVs and support to get online.
The sessions take place at The Salvation Army, Lime Square, Openshaw, Manchester, M11 1DA.

Every Monday morning 10.30am-11.30am above the Salvation Army charity shop in Lime Square the Salvation Army are holding weekly exercise sessions for adults with a fully trained instructor. There is half an hour of exercise plus half an hour for refreshments and a chat.

The National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) is now inviting applications for its 2023 mentoring scheme. Applications are now being accepted for mentors and mentees to join the NCJAA professional mentoring scheme for 2023-24.
The £76M Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund has been launched.
The fund will support organisations across England to deliver critical frontline services. Organisations will be able to apply for funding to maintain or expand critical cost of living services from now until the end of March 2024.
