It is a day for families, residents and visitors to get together and celebrate all things Mancunian that have made Manchester one of the world’s most iconic cities. 
Manchester Day, Manchester’s big free family day out, which returns on Sunday 23 June, from midday until 6pm.
Manchester City Council have opened their Manchester Culture Awards 2019 for nominations, they want to hear about last year's events, people, projects and shows. Large or small, international or local, this is your chance to nominate the people, organisations and groups that you think made a creative buzz in Manchester between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2019. 
The GM VCSE Devolution Reference Group and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership have commissioned a partnership of Bolton CVS, Mind in Greater Manchester, GMCVO and VSNW to ensure that the VCSE sector plays a comprehensive role in commissioning both at a local and Greater Manchester level. As part of this work they are conducting a listening exercise with the VCSE sector about your experiences.
The Greater Manchester Improving Specialist Care Programme is reviewing hospital based Vascular Services provided across Greater Manchester (GM) to make them the best they can possibly be and to make them sustainable for the future. This project is looking at Vascular Conditions, which are not related to the heart and brain i.e. heart attack, stroke. 
Bringing local people together to create something special. Forever Manchester is encouraging people across Greater Manchester to come together with neighbours and friends over the weekend of 21 – 23 June 2019. 
Forever Manchester are delighted to announce that they will once again be offering £200 to support 100 groups of people who might need a bit of extra help to stage their event.
Greenheys Residents Association are running a gardening club in Moss Side. It runs in Elizabeth Gaskell Square, just off Great Western Street, opposite Greenheys Adult Education Centre on Thursdays after school, 4pm-5pm for ages 5-15.

Odd Arts is an innovative, creative and ethical organisation, using theatre and the arts to transform lives, predominantly within the criminal justice arena. Odd Arts are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to become a Trustee of their charity at a time of real growth and excitement. Odd Arts are currently under-represented by BAME individuals within their Board and are keen to build a whole organisation that reflects the society they live and work with.

Home Community Café believe in nurturing relationships between local residents and organisations, by providing social space, events and training opportunities. Home Community Café work to improve people's lives though strengthening community, valuing individuals and creating an inclusive and welcoming space where everybody feels they belong. Direction for the charity is provided by a small group of trustees and the Café manager.
Situated on the A6 between Stockport and Manchester Levenshulme Inspire is a vibrant community centre providing variety of activities to support our community. Levenshulme Inspire offer a thriving café and meeting rooms can be hired. Levenshulme Inspire is easily accessed via public transport, and on street parking is readily available. 
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is currently looking proposals for ways of restructuring its services. The main impacts of the proposals for the voluntary sector are: 
• Closure of some local fire stations
• A reduction in home visits, fire risk assessments for vulnerable people and the ability to refer these people into other community-based services
