Manchester City Council is offering a new package of support that aims to support residents through the cost of living crisis. £3,000 per ward is being made available to support food organisations. 
This is in addition to the £20k per ward Neighbourhood Investment Fund (NIF) allocation.

The 'State of the GM VCSE Sector 2021' report reveals a pressing need for support around HR within our sector. In response, the GM VCSE Workforce Development Programme is looking at the current range and quality of Human Resources 
services used by local VCSE organisations.
A new £535k grants programme, funded through the Department for Transport and Active Travel England Capability and Ambition Fund, will support Greater Manchester's active travel mission. The community access grants will help local businesses and organisations to get more people walking, wheeling and cycling.
This fund will provide blended (grant and loan) support to community and social enterprises to enable them to retrofit energy generating/saving technology on community owned or managed buildings, with an initial focus on stabilising or reducing energy costs. It will particularly target high energy users, working in deprived communities or with marginalised groups.
