National Diversity Awards 2023

Charities, role models and community heroes will be honoured at the 2023 ceremony showcasing their outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion; thus embracing the excellence of all our citizens irrespective of race, faith, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability and culture. The concept for the National Diversity Awards arose when The Diversity Group identified an urgent need for more positive role models to be actively promoted, with the aim to empower and inspire the wide breadth of diverse communities across the UK.

Anti Racism Awards Black History Month 2023

There are no shortcuts in anti-racism work. Only by committing daily to re‑designing systems to include the perspectives and voices of historically marginalised and oppressed communities can anti-racism awardsindividuals and organisations reach our society’s unrealised potentials.

The Phoenix Way – Children and Youth Emergency Round

Black and minority community-led charities and organisations working with children and young people at risk of becoming involved in violence can apply for emergency funding to mitigate the effects of the inflation and cost of living crises.

Lloyds Bank Foundation Racial equity grants

Charities and CICs with an annual income between £25,000 - £500,000 can apply for grants of £75,000. This funding programme is for organisations working with people experiencing inequity fundingbecause of their race or ethnicity. To be eligible for this programme, your organisation will be led by the communities you serve.

Reclaim Black Heritage Fund

The Reclaim Black Heritage Fund has grants available for up to £4,000 for projects that would benefit the black community and commemorate 1981. The funding is open to black-led groups and funding bag imageindividuals that are in line with the 81 Acts Humanifesto.

Your project can be whatever you want it to be, so long as it is creative, engaging, and seeks to honour the principles of the Humanifesto.

Research: The impact of the cost-of-living crisis on older ethnic minority people in Greater Manchester

This research is being carried out by members of the Manchester Urban Ageing Research Group (MUARG) based at the University of Manchester. The group have been involved in a range of image: surveyprojects over the past two decades, developing innovative research on the lives of older people living in areas where there is often a mix of low incomes and poor housing.

Grants to Mark the 75th Anniversary of Windrush

Funding to support groups to celebrate and/or educate about the history of the MV Empire Windrush and the contributions of the Windrush Generation to UK life.
