The Baobab Collective Fund

Baobab are excited to announce a new £3 million fund to grow, sustain, and strengthen Black and Global Majority communities that are resisting racial injustice in the UK.

UP Collective

Applications are now open for an early-stage business programme. Up Collective is a free programme that provides business support to people from a refugee background, run in partnership with TERN and Ben & Jerry's. In 2022 it will be run with cohorts across London, Manchester and the Netherlands.

Applications are now being encouraged for the Manchester programme.

AFRUCA County Lines Child Trafficking Family Support Service

AFRUCA is a national charity promoting the well-being and protection of children and families in Black and ethnic communities in the UK. The County Lines Child Trafficking Family Support service afrucahas been established in response to the growing problem of child criminal exploitation across Manchester.

Swim England – Under representation survey

Swim England are currently undertaking one of their most important pieces of work which looks to provide more opportunities for diverse ethnic groups to access swimming and also for communities swimming poolsto change their perception that swimming is not for them.

To help them inform their future strategy, they have released a short survey.

Core20PLUS5 VCSE Survey

Core20PLUS5 is a national initiative aimed at addressing health inequalities. The Caribbean & African Health Network survey(CAHN) is running a Core20PLUS5 project in Greater Manchester working with the Caribbean and African community to gather lived experiences that would feed into codesigning and coproducing pathways across core health conditions.
