Manchester City Council budget options

Manchester City Council are looking for your views on a range of savings options that they must consider to balance the Council’s budget over the next three years.

Manchester City Council have already made some tough budget decisions in the last five years, with £100 million a year less to spend and a third fewer staff to deliver services.

Local Charities Day: 16 December

The Government has announced that Local Charities Day will take place on 16 December 2016. Local Charities Day will celebrate small, local charities and community groups Minister for Civil Society encourages citizens to donate to local good causes through Localgiving’s ‘Grow Your Tenner’ campaign, which launches with £245,000 match funding from government.

Lloyds Banking Group Digital Champions have a range of skills and could support with Basic Digital Skills in a variety of ways for example helping someone get online for the first time, setting up a Facebook account, browsing online and shopping.
