It will give people suffering from food poverty, and those working with them, new skills and the ability to tell their stories. We will highlight these valuable insights to the influential people and policy makers who could help make a difference.

The FCC Community Action Fund is designed to deliver amenity projects within 10 miles of a FCC Environment landfill site in WREN’s operating area, under Object D of the Landfill Communities Fund. 
The mission of the British Science Week Community Grant Scheme is to expand the audiences that engage with science and self-identify as having an interest in science. The aim is to empower and support community groups to run their own science activities during British Science Week (10-19 March 2017). This grant scheme offers £500-1000 for community groups that work directly with audiences who are traditionally under-represented in science activity.

Tell the story of how your community and the work being done their adds to the Spirit of Manchester. We want to train people from all over Manchester to become accredited Community Reporters and tell the great stories happening across the city. 
As a part of a wider investment in cycling, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is offering grants to Charities and Community Interest Companies (CIC’s) in Greater Manchester who wish to install new or improved cycle parking facilities for use by visitors/clients and members of the public. 
Further to the successful delivery of the Rethinking Radicalisation and Radical Dialogue programmes, Manchester has been working with communities to develop a new and exciting community resilience campaign and grant funding programme called RADEQUAL. 
From October 2016 Comic Relief, with Paul Hamlyn Foundation, is launching another UK Tech for Good funding programme. This will fund 10 digital projects each with up to £46,500, plus £3,500 to enable access to expert support.
