DCLG are looking for projects that, when fully developed, can deliver the high-level outcomes they are looking to achieve, namely:
Deliver a programme that will provide English language training and support participants’ integration into their local communities
Reach those groups in England with the lowest levels of English language skill
Work in those areas of England with a high need for this type of English language support
Design a project which can be sustained past the point of Government funding
Design a project with the capacity to be scaled up to reach large numbers of learners.
