Edge Fund funds work carried out by individuals and grass-roots groups in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England that find it difficult to get funding elsewhere. The Road Ahead - A review of the voluntary sector's operating environment is the latest NCVO analysis of the challenges and opportunities for the voluntary sector. It shows that there continued to be a rising demand for services but at the same time, reducing resources from local and central government. NCVO also predict that this will continue to present a challenge together with other issues such as the potential impact of the Brexit vote on the economy and household income.
