Peter Sowerby Foundation Increasing Access Fund

The new Increasing Access Fund is targeted to support organisations to develop new services that respond to the Covid-19 situation, or to adapt existing services to meet local and national needs. The Fund is aimed specifically at ensuring or increasing access to key services and activities for beneficiaries who have struggled with access due to Covid-19. The Foundation will also consider supporting programmes which provide access for beneficiaries to new services which have been developed in response to a clear Covid-19 need.

The NFU Mutual Community Giving Fund

NFU Mutual would ideally like to fund something specific so they can measure the difference their donation has made – whether it’s purchasing an item of equipment or furniture, or something else that will help people over a long period of time.

NFU Mutual are most likely to approve funding request which meet one or more of these four areas of interest:

Covid-19 Frontline Women’s Fund

smallwood trustThe Covid-19 Frontline Women’s Fund is being delivered by Smallwood Trust, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. The National Lottery Community Fund has committed almost £500,000 to the fund, which will be used to provide support to organisations that are working with women most at risk of poverty and financial hardship due to the pandemic.

Sport England – The Return to Play: Small Grants fund

sport englandThe Return to Play: Small Grants fund seeks to support projects addressing the challenges coronavirus (Covid-19) has posed to people taking part in sport and physical activity.

A total of £10 million is available, with grants of between £300 and £10,000, to help not-for-profit community organisations create coronavirus-secure settings for community sport and physical activity to resume this autumn.
