The Thriving Communities Fund will support local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise projects that bring together place-based partnerships to improve and increase the range and reach of available social prescribing community activities – especially for those people most impacted by Covid-19 and health inequalities.
Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW) are working in partnership with the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership to recruit young people living in Greater Manchester as Digital History Makers who will support their campaign to make smoking history in Greater Manchester. VSNW are particularly looking for people who are creative, passionate and engaging.

Groups can get help with
Across the UK, communities experiencing racial inequality have been disproportionately affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The crisis has amplified the entrenched structural racism experienced across intersecting issues such as health, work and living standards.
For this round of the Community Support Fund, supported by the Co-op, Forever Manchester are accepting applications from voluntary and community organisations based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.
The focus for this funding is sustainable food poverty programmes.
The CDL Fund is particularly keen to receive applications from groups who are using technology to adapt their activities or change how they support their community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
