Manchester Mind would like you invite you to attend Mental Health First Aid (Adult) Refresher training.
This course is running live, online, via the MHFA online learning hub on Thursday 22 October 09.30-13.30.
The session will be 4 hours long. Unfortunately we cannot record sessions. The training will be practical and participants will be encouraged to join in and take part. However, remember, if something doesn't feel right, you can stop any time.
Course Overview:
It’s important to refresh your skills and update your knowledge to reflect the advancements in the MHFA training since you completed the MHFA certification. The course will recap many aspects of your initial training as well as covering any important updates. As it’s always important to look after yourself in the role of MHFAider, the training also focuses on self-care.
You will also receive the support of the MHFAider Support App. This has been developed by MHFA England so that you have 24/7 support in your role. It includes an extensive resource library, a signposting database so that you can easily find the best place to direct people when needed, and a text support function which provides advice, reassurance and support.
Who is the training for:
Those who have already completed the 2 day MHFA England training.
