Money Saving Expert (MSE) Charity – Life Changing Transition theme accepting applications

The MSE CharityMSE Charity is currently accepting UK applications to its ‘Life Changing Transition’ theme but will close as soon as 40 applications are accepted so groups should not wait to apply.

Funded by Money Saving Expert, the MSE Charity gives grants to not for profit organisations that deliver activities which make a lasting impact on how people think, behave and manage their money.

Hope Mill TheatreThe last Friday of every month, Hope Mill Theatre based in Ancoats, Manchester hosts a relaxing play reading group, from 11am - 1pm. Open to all ages, it is a great way to meet new people, enjoy a hot beverage and immerse yourself in the world of theatre, and is often hosted by cast members of upcoming shows. This month it will be a member from the cast of Mame, which premieres on the 29 September.

North Manchester Inquiry Final Paper

Nigel Rose, Strategic Lead (Commissioning), at Macc was involved in facilitating and contributing to the North Manchester Inquiry into increasing the strength of the voluntary sector and the final recommendations paper is now available here. There is an ongoing working group which Sarah Whitelegg, Capacity Building Team Manager, is part of.
