Thomas Wall Trust Funding to help disadvantaged groups to improve their communication skills
Charities can now apply for grants to deliver projects next Spring which improve employment prospects for people experiencing deprivation across the UK.
The Thomas Wall Trust is accepting applications from UK charities with a turnover of £10,000 to £500,000 that have been registered with the Charity Commission for at least three years.
Take part in National Lottery Open Week 2024
The next National Lottery Open Week will take place from Saturday 9 – Sunday 17 March 2024.
To say thank you for the £30 million raised for good causes every week by players, The National Lottery will offer free entry and special offers at a range of participating National Lottery funded venues across the UK, as part of Open Week.
Mental Wellbeing Strategy Stakeholder Engagement Events
The Department of Public Health is hosting a series of stakeholder engagement events in late November / early December to support the development of a mental wellbeing strategy. The strategy will focus on a public health and social determinants approach to the prevention of mental ill-health and the promotion of good mental health and wellbeing. It will work alongside the existing healthcare system approaches to treatment and support for mental ill-health problems and conditions.

Cancer and Inequalities Fund
The 10GM Cancer and Inequalities Grants Programme is offering grants of up to £2,000 to VCSE organisations to deliver innovative projects to support improvements in early cancer diagnosis amongst people who are at higher risk of later-stage detection and diagnosis.
Movement for Good Charities and young people special draw
Movement for Good’s fourth and final special draw of 2023 opens on 6 November for five days only.
This year, in addition to the main £1,000 Movement for Good draws, four special draws have been run with 10 prizes of £5,000 in each.
The theme of the fourth special draw is charities supporting children and young people.
