Many people have great ideas to make better places and spaces in Manchester but they don’t always know how to find the help and funding they need to get things done.

Equally, there are lots of businesses, organisations and people that want to offer practical support or make donations but they cannot always find the right projects.

Crowd funding can help make ideas happen. Basically, crowd funding is raising donations and support online, using a specialist web site.

Lobbying Act repeal letter

The Commission on Civil Society and Democratic Engagement have published their third report, setting out the first evidence of the impact of the Lobbying Act on charities and campaign groups.

The report draws evidence from 50 charities, faith and campaign groups across the UK representing a wide range of issues.

The commission are concerned by the findings:
Even before the regulated period started, the Lobbying Act has been limiting charities and campaign groups from speaking out on important issues ahead of the general election.

The Woodward Charitable Trust Children's Summer Playscheme Grants 2015

The Woodward Charitable Trust Grants are provided by the Woodward Charitable Trust and administered by the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts.

The scheme is intended to support small scale organisations that provide children's summer playschemes.

The Woodward Charitable Trust award Children's summer playscheme grants of between £500-£1,000.

Charities that apply should have an annual income under £100,000.

Forever Manchester to deliver £200k into Moston and Harpurhey
