The focus of this event will be on Social Value, and we believe it will be particularly beneficial for local businesses eager to offer social value, as well as community groups and organisations looking to benefit from it.

This free workshop is for researchers and others interested in fair and meaningful public involvement and engagement with underserved communities. The workshop will challenge you to walk a mile in the shoes of a community champion and, guided by their voices, forge a path to working alongside them in the best possible way.

On July 14th Macc is holding a voluntary sector assembly about social prescribing, where we will be helping the VCSE sector to write a manifesto about what we collectively want from social prescribing. This article is my personal take on some of the issues.
It’s an old question: “have you ever wondered what it would be like if….?” (Bit of a cliché in fact, but go with me, it’s the end of a long difficult year...)
