Community Cancer Conversations

Community Health MCR - Community Cancer Conversations Programme 2026-2027

You’ve told Ladybarn Community Hub that “cancer feels deeply isolating”, “there aren’t always spaces to talk openly with people who understand, especially outside the hospital”.

So Ladybarn Community Hub are creating something new together! A community space for conversation, peer support, connection, reflection, belonging.

A welcoming space to explore what support, connection and community could look like beyond the hospital, making you feel valued and understood.

Ladybarn Community Hub are inviting anybody affected by cancer – whether through personal experience, caring for someone, or supporting others professionally – to join and build a supportive community. You can participate as much or as little as you like, and you are welcome just as you are.

This is not a formal support programme or a clinical space. It is the beginning of something that Ladybarn Community Hub hope to shape together, including what this community becomes and even what it will be called.

Whether you would like to talk, listen, meet others, or be in the company of people who may understand some of your experience, you are welcome.

All sessions will be held at Ladybarn Community Hub, Royle Street, Ladybarn, M14 6RN from 1pm - 2pm

Attending is free and no registration is required.
