The Summer Jobs Programme is a six-week initiative for young people aged 16-20 at risk of violence, helping them gain skills, confidence, and a brighter future.
The programme will run during the summer holidays and includes:
- 1 preparation week - 21st-25th July
- 5 weeks of paid work experience - Full time (25hrs) from Mon 28th July – Fri 29th Aug
- Wraparound support from a youth worker including in placement 1:1s
- Celebration event!
This session will go into detail about UK Youth's Summer Jobs project and how you can support young people to access it through Greater Manchester Youth Network. GMYN are taking referrals for eligible young people from Salford, Stockport and Trafford.
