What to do if you have concerns about individual children or adults
If you have any worries about a child's safety or welfare, in the first instance speak to a Contact Officer at the Manchester Contact Centre on 0161 234 5001 or fax on 0161 255 8266. The Contact Officer will then notify the First Response Team of your concerns.
In addition, you can call the NSPCC Child Protection helpline on 0808 800 5000 to discuss your concerns, or ask for advice by email.
The final version of the specification for One Team [7] has been published. One Team is Manchester's approach to bringing health and social care staff together to deliver an integrated service in 12 patches across the city. Section 1 outlines the challenges that Manchester faces in terms of health and wellbeing and the key strategies in place to meet those challenges. Section 2 describes the specification and the design parameters.

The Small Business Saturday campaign is seeking 100 inspiring or unique small businesses from across the UK. Each business will be highlighted on the campaign’s website and social media channels in the 100 days leading up to Small Business Saturday on 5 December, giving great free local and national publicity.
For the past two years, the 100 small businesses have also attended a reception in Downing Street with the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The Power to Change is an independent charitable trust set up in January 2015. Over the next decade they will use £150 million provided by the Big Lottery Fund to support, develop and grow community business across England.
By the end of this year they aim to have provided £9 million of funding and support. The majority of this funding will be awarded through the Initial Grants Programme.
The Initial Grants Programme will see up to £9m of grants and a wide range of business support provided to around 70 organisations between May and December 2015.
Small Charity Week runs 15-20 June 2015. It celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector which makes an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities and causes across the UK and the rest of the world.

You might not be able to actually see their gold stars, but every day young people are making a huge difference to other people's lives across the UK.
They are giving first aid, befriending vulnerable people, and fundraising and campaigning for good causes.
The British Red Cross Humanitarian Citizen Awards celebrate community heroes aged 25 and under, both individuals and groups of young people.
