Free comms coaching for small charities supporting refugee and migrant communities

To mark Small Charity Week and Refugee Week, Media Trust are partnering with Bloomberg to offer small refugee and migrant charities comms coaching on 21 June between 10am-12pm.

Tackling digital exclusion through repair, re-use and recycling for Manchester residents

A new, centralised refurbishment initiative has launched to tackle digital exclusion amongst residents of Manchester. Community Computers are working with Manchester City Council to offer low-community computerscost devices that trials a more sustainable approach to support residents to get online.

The Tech Lending Community Fund

In partnership with Virgin Media O2, Hubbub is launching a £400,000 fund to make tablets and free data available to community organisations across the UK. The fund is exclusively supporting organisations such as local authorities, charities and social enterprises who work closely with temporary accommodation services, such as centres for refugees, housing for those at risk of homelessness or women’s refuges.
