We still believe that there is a need to link businesses with local voluntary and community groups and the benefits can and often are significant and mutual. To join you need to be a resident of Levenshulme, Longsight or Gorton and be an expectant Mum, Dad or Carer or have a child under 2. Siblings are welcome to accompany you.
The Magic Little Grants Fund provides charities and community groups that are either in their first year of operation or have an annual income under £250,000 the opportunity to apply for a £500 grant.
This year the fund has expanded to support the following funding themes:

For their 2021 fund, Sir Robert McAlpine has set up grants in a total of 7 locations across England and Scotland to engage local residents and boost community wellbeing in areas around their construction projects.

Excelerate Women is a fully funded online scale up programme offering coaching for Greater Manchester women business leaders and their teams to springboard business growth.
The programme is delivered over 6 weeks through a combination of group mentoring, 1:1 coaching and advice, with access to additional free training between sessions choosing modules that suit individual business needs.
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a HIV prevention gamechanger in supporting to get to zero new HIV transmissions by 2030 – a global ambition set out by UNAIDS. Alongside other prevention methods including condoms, regular testing, PEP and U=U, PrEP equips communities with the tools to achieve the global target.
