This issue includes a report on the challenges posed by Greater Manchester’s unsupported temporary accommodation and its hidden homeless, GM Poverty Action examines the role of local employment charters and, as part of the Work and Wages series, take a look at whether sharing skills reduces inequality. There is also the usual list of forthcoming local events. 

A group of master's students at the University of Manchester are conducting a survey addressed to individuals with a motivation in starting their own social enterprise. This survey would like to find out if (potential) social entrepreneurs would consider getting a business coach.

Funding is available to commission a youth organisation to work creatively (using art, drama, digital content, storytelling) with a group of young people to develop and lead their own debate about the impact of poverty, and devise solutions to reduce generational inequality.
