Greater Manchester Cancer Education Strategic Plan - Consultation

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the NHS have published the first formal draft of the Greater Manchester Cancer Education Strategic Plan, commissioned as part of the recently published GM Cancer Plan. A consultation has been opened for groups and individuals to give comments.

Funding bulletin April 2017

It showcases just a few of the hundreds of funding opportunities available for local community, voluntary and faith organisations.

DataSavesLives

The Data Saves lives project was commissioned by the Health Foundation and lead by the the Health eResearch Centre at the University of Manchester. Macc worked with the University of Manchester, Age UK and Inspiring Communities to run a Community Reporter aspect to the project. The projects aim was to understand how people use technology to support their health and wellbeing.

The Edge Fund

The Edge Fund is now open for their first funding round of the year. The Edge Fund is giving £40,000 to about 30 grass-roots groups, campaigning against the systems that cause injustice. Edge Fund

The Edge Fund supports work run by and for communities facing discrimination and injustice and funds work carried out by individuals and grass-roots groups in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England that find it difficult to get funding elsewhere.
