Domestic Abuse Service User Questionnaire

12 Feb 2016 - 11:00 by michelle.foster

Domestic Abuse agencies in Manchester are interested in hearing about your experiences of receiving support.

The agencies are asking you to complete this short form, about your experience of contacting agencies about any domestic abuse you have experienced. Your responses will help to improve services to meet your needs.

As well as asking you about services, a few questions have been included about you, as the agencies want to know that their services are inclusive and open to everyone who wants to use them.

12 Feb 2016 - 10:58 by michelle.foster

A project for Portland Basin Museum in Ashton to celebrate International Women’s Day 2016 requires BME female artists and creators to submit work exploring ‘taboo’ subjects; this can include anything from race, religion, identity, immigration, mental health, addiction, domestic abuse etc.

The project hopes this will allow a space for BME women to showcase their work exploring these important issues that are often not discussed and will raise awareness amongst the public. The chosen pieces will be displayed at the museum throughout the month of March.
