in place of warIn Place of War’s (IPOW) Open Call is for creative practitioners (e.g. artists, makers and curators) in Greater Manchester with a heritage of forced displacement (e.g. migrant, exile, refugee or person seeking asylum), who are looking to develop their entrepreneurial skills and professional opportunities in the creative industries.

Submissions are open for Manchester Open Exhibition 2022

manchester open exhibitionApplications for artists to be part of the 2022 Manchester Open Exhibition are now open. 

Submissions are open to all, including those who may already identify as artists and those who might not, working in any medium. It is free to submit work for consideration, although HOME encourages donations in order to support their outreach and engagement programme.

The Peter Kershaw Memorial Bursary

fundingThe Peter Kershaw Memorial Bursary is an annual award made by the Trustees in memory of the Trust's benefactor. The bursary is intended to fund the costs of a youth leader, though other forms of youth work will be considered.

Organisations with charitable status in Greater Manchester are invited to apply for the bursary, which will be awarded on the basis of up to £25,000 for year 1, £15,000 for year 2 and £10,000 for year 3.
