MSA LIVE is an annual programme of ‘Live Projects’ run by Manchester School of Architecture. The programme brings together community organisations and masters of architecture students architecture(M.Arch 1) to work together on an active project in Manchester or the North West. The key focus is on social impact and collaboration. MSA are keen to hear from community based groups who would be interested in working with their students.

GM Walking grants are available to get Greater Manchester walking this winter

Funded by GM Moving, small grants of up to £2,000 and medium grants of up to £5,000 are available through 10GM to support activities that encourage people who are usually less active to start fundingor increase the amount they regularly walk this winter.

Medium grant applicants will also need to demonstrate how their project supports one or more of the following objectives:

The Peter Kershaw Memorial Bursary

This is an annual award made by the Trustees in memory of the Trust's benefactor. The bursary is intended to fund the costs of a youth leader, though other forms of youth work will be considered.

fundingOrganisations with charitable status in Greater Manchester are invited to apply for the bursary, which will be awarded on the basis of up to £25,000 for year 1, £15,000 for year 2 and £10,000 for year 3.

Surviving Economic Abuse: Survivors' Forum

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) has launched a Survivors’ Forum – an online forum for victim-survivors of economic abuse. The Forum is a safe and supportive space for women over ages of 18 to online forumanonymously share their experience of economic abuse and access a community of victim-survivors. The Forum provides an opportunity to share experiences and connect with others. All posts are anonymous.
