Cranfield Trust free Charity Contact Days – Delivering essential support during Small Charity Week

Cranfield Trust are supporting this year’s Small Charity Week to deliver much needed support to small social welfare charities across the UK.

Cranfield Trust are offering appointments throughout Small Charity Week 2024, and beyond, for registered charities and CICs to get FREE immediate access to expert volunteers and Regional Managers for specialist and timely answers to pressing charity management questions.

Trading for Good: Community Business – Funded programme for people who want to improve their community

Develop your community business through a specialist programme of support.

With a group of others like you, you will learn from the experts, and each other, to grow your community business. You will also receive a Match Trading™ Grant that combined with the learning programme will support you to develop trading income streams and build a resilient community business.

The programme:

Zuto Make A Difference Fund

The Zuto Make A Difference Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.

The Zuto Make A Difference Fund aims to encourage and support grassroots community organisations. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like.

Movement for Good Children and Young People Special Draw

5 days, 10 charities, £5,000 each – nominations open for five days, from 17 – 21 June 2024. To support the incredible work that so many charities do to support children and young people, our third special draw of the year will award £5,000 to 10 charities working in this area.

This special draw is open to charities whose core charitable purpose is to support children and young people (aged 23 and under).

The Phoenix Way Children and Youth Round 2

The latest £2.2 million funding round is now open dedicated to non-profit organisations working with Black and racially minoritised young people at risk of violence.

This second round of the Children and Youth grant offers individual project grants ranging from £50,000 to £75,000. Funding can be used to support a new project, an existing project, or the expansion of a project.

Eligible non-profit groups, organisations or charities must meet the following criteria:

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales – Deaf and Disabled People's Organisations

This programme is for small and local charities and CICs with an income between £25,000 to £500,000 that are led by and working with Deaf and Disabled people who are experiencing poverty. Organisations can apply for a three-year unrestricted grant of £75,000.

Women’s Urgent Support Fund

The Women’s Urgent Support Fund is supported by over £5.4 million of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. Through the Women’s Urgent Support Fund £5.43 million will be awarded in grants to c.100 small, local community organisations led by and serving women, enabling 20,000 women to access vital specialist support services over five years.

The Women’s Urgent Support Fund Round 2 is a continuation of Round 1 and will support organisations providing frontline services for women to manage the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.

Pilgrim Trust Young Women in Mind programme

The Pilgrim Trust’s five-year, £5 million Young Women in Mind programme is open to applications from UK registered charities with an annual income of between £100,000 and £1 million, have been operating for at least three years and whose work or project is located in the North East England, North West England, Yorkshire and The Humber or Northern Ireland.

Grants of between £60,000 and £100,000 spread across three years are available. It is expected that between 10 to 12 projects will be supported.

Arnold Clark Community Fund

Arnold Clark is currently accepting applications for its annual grant available to registered charities and other non-profits across England, Scotland and Wales. The maximum grant is £2,500 and applications are reviewed when they are received. Arnold Clark will contact successful applicants on a weekly basis. Applications are expected to be accepted until the end of December 2024.
